Dog owners love their pets, and every individual values the right for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But what happens when the individual rights of a few threaten the well-being of the many?

Explore the issue of of dog-fighting and then decide whether the community should limit the rights of pet owners. Be sure to look at both sides of the issue and really understand your position before making a choice. Please choose at least three facts or other evidence that you believe to be particularly compelling.

Use this evidence to create a voicethread, or slideshow that presents your decision along with your reasoning. Feel free to incorporate quotes, images, and sound files to produce a compelling argument on the issue of fighting dogs and individual rights that you will then share with others in an attempt to persuade them to agree with your argument.
